Our connectivity theme started by plotting data sets—from HCN's portfolio of properties, to U.S. MSAs, to recent census numbers. Each data set was mapped as a layer programmatically.
After plotting the data, it was a matter of connecting the dots.
The mapped data was used abstractly as a design element on the final cover, as well as throughout the annual report and microsite.
